Unlike many other denizens of the Stone World of Eldrador, the rock beast is agile and fast-moving. And between its horns, its fangs, and its claws, it is no slouch either when it comes to fighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rock beast measures about 8.5 cm tall and 14 cm long. It is sculpted with its right hind leg extended back and its left front paw extended forward. Its head is turned slightly to the right and its mouth is open in a snarl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main colours here are medium brown and taupe grey, with black wash to bring out the detail. The nose, claws, and hooves are dark grey, the teeth are white, the tongue is pink, and the eyes are light green. Topping it all off are the translucent light green horns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rock beast\u2019s tail is but a small tuft and its hind legs are like those of a sheep or a goat\u2019s, right down to the cloven hooves. Its muscular front legs, however, end in large, four digit paws with curved claws. Its caprine-like head boasts a mouth lined with savage teeth. And growing out of its cranium are four large, curved horns. One can easily imagine how ferocious this creature must be in a scrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rock beast is clearly quite tough as well. Its cranium, neck, shoulders, and upper back are covered in thick, rocky armour, complete with a few unpainted patches of lichen. Its rump and thighs are also covered in patches of armour, but you possibly wouldn\u2019t notice at first due to them not being painted. The rest of the body is covered either in shaggy fur or scales.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the Schleich rock beast could have benefitted from more paint apps, it\u2019s still a pretty cool and scary-looking toy. Recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
