As his name suggests, the jungle emperor rules the Jungle Kingdom of Eldrador. And with his immense strength, thick hide, and ability to form deadly weaponry out of his own body, he is well-suited for his throne.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Schleich jungle emperor is a wide and bulky giant comprised entirely of plant matter. Mostly thick dark green vines, but his enormous feet are made of brown tree bark. So are the large armoured plates protecting his chest. His right upper arm has two large yellow thorns sprouting from it, with a third one on his elbow. And emerging from his clenched fist are two long, curved thorns that effectively function as claws.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing on the emperor\u2019s left arm is a gigantic, leaf-shaped bark shield that extends from his wrist to his shoulder. He is indeed armed and ready for battle.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The emperor\u2019s head features beady yellow eyes, a furrowed brow, a brown bark face plate, and a tall crown of branches. This makes him about 13.5 cm tall. However, his head can be rotated upside down to create an alternative head. Now he has a bark helmet, a wide, toothy mouth, and a beard made of branches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The emperor also features a rotating waist and arms. But that\u2019s a bit of a letdown compared to the other Eldrador giants that I\u2019ll be reviewing here in the coming future, which all have ball-jointed arms that allow for a greater range of movement. The emperor is also noticeably smaller than his peers, which may be a result of Schleich attempting to cut some costs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But overall, I’d say that the Schleich jungle emperor is a pretty nice toy, and quite popular with my sons as you can see from all the scuff marks on his body and the pen scribbles over his eyes. He is usually available wherever Eldrador toys are sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
